What’s the big idea?
Signed books make great gifts!

The Holiday Book Festival offers a unique opportunity for authors to sell books of all genres, book-related merchandise, reading accessories, and other items. If we can justify it’s related to reading and/or books or the content you write about, you’re welcome to apply! This will be a collaborative event, and all vendors are encouraged to invite their own audiences, too. We will provide graphics and marketing materials, but we ask each author and vendor to help promote the event. There will be no workshops or readings that will take readers and authors away from your tables. This event focuses solely on sales and interactions, allowing you to connect directly with readers, gift-seekers, and other book lovers. 

The Holiday Book Festival applications are now open. Applications are due by November 8th. If your application is accepted, you will receive an invoice that will be payable at that time. Festival attendees want to purchase signed copies, so the author's presence is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (Not mandatory, of course) for your own space.

DETAILS

WHEN: Saturday, December 13, 2025, 9:00 am-3:00 pm​

WHERE: IBEW Hall, 13306 Stevens St #101, Omaha, NE 68137 (near Millard Avenue and 133rd) 

SETUP/TEAR DOWN: Set up will be from 7-8:30 am on Dec. 13. If you have a more elaborate setup, we can do some installation the Friday before between 6 and 8 pm. Tear down must be completed by 6 pm on Dec. 14.
